WELCOME TO DIFFERENT SCENE
We are Different Scene, a gay interest online magazine. Our website focuses on entertainment releases, male icons, culture, fashion and style – but with a difference. A portal for men who don’t want to follow the typical gay stereotypes, Different Scene feature traditional gay magazine stories with a mainstream twist instead of only looking at high price fashion, gay club listings and stories revolving around semi-naked men.
One of the general ethos of Different Scene is to allow gay men the opportunity to enjoy interesting articles online without worrying about possibly embarrassing images appearing on screen. In addition, not every gay man can afford high price fashion nor has an interest in the gay scene – something which traditional gay magazines focus on heavily. We at Different Scene simply want to give gay men another avenue to explore online.
A pool of fresh new writers report on the worlds of film, music, books, TV and theatre within the Entertainment FYI sections. Different Scene’s fashion team will be highlighting the best high street looks within Style FYI and a features team will focus on new and classic male icons in Men, along with interesting features and news.
